Travelbound introduces green website

TUI’s educational tour operator, Travelbound, has launched a website as part of its “green” communication strategy.
The Travelbound site is aimed at reducing the company’s paper-based communications to its school “party leader” customer base and has over 700 pages of content. This includes safety and trip organisation sections, a “wish list” where tours can added and reviewed at a later date, and trips can be searched by destination, subject or key stage.

Research by Travelbound found safety to be an overriding factor for teachers when organising tours, so the site will feature in-depth safety information, downloads such as the “Help with Risk Assessments” document, and links to key areas on safety.

Ian Finlay, managing director of Tui Travel STAG, said: “We constantly search for eco-friendly methods of communicating with our customer base. As part of our ongoing strategy to reduce paper communications in the group, we are delighted to launch the new Travelbound website.”
