Air Berlin and Europcar have signed an agreement which makes Europcar a new partner of Air Berlin’s topbonus program. The agreement, which took effect from February, allows Air Berlin’s topbonus members to earn award miles when renting a car with Europcar.

The new partnership will benefit travellers as Air Berlin and Europcar offer 500 award miles to all Air Berlin topbonus cardholders, whether they are travelling for business or pleasure.

During the launch period from February 1 to April 30, 2008, Air Berlin topbonus members will get even more award miles on certain rentals, as Europcar offers double award miles across the network. In addition, the partners will join forces in marketing, including a prize draw in which Europcar offers new topbonus members the chance to win free rentals.

The Air Berlin Group carries 27.9 million passengers per year. Its network includes major
international cities and holiday destinations, as well as domestic flights within Germany. Air Berlin topbonus travellers will be entitled to earn award miles on their Europcar rental sanywhere in the world.
