easyJet begins new Palma service

easyJet has welcomed passengers onboard its inaugural flight from East Midlands to Palma, Mallorca today, providing travellers from the region with an even greater choice of destinations from their local airport.Fares for the three times weekly service (Tue, Thru, Sat), which increases to daily from the 12 April, are available from an incredible £22.99 one way (£35.35 return) including taxes and easyJet expects to carry 100,000 passengers on the route over the next 12 months.

The largest of the Balearic islands, the beautiful island of Mallorca is home to miles of golden beaches perfect for a relaxing family holiday, with the historic city of Palma offering a stream of designer shops for you to splash out and indulge.
