Hotels4U inks deal with Multimap

Hotels4U has selected Multimap to provide mapping, routing and local information services for its online booking site.Talking about their decision to choose Multimap, Hotels4U Head of E-commerce, Steven Moore said “We decided to join forces with Multimap on the basis of its proven record with successful implementations of online mapping solutions for many high-profile global sites, with coverage that is second to none. The ability to view local Points of Interest and get travel directions will help our customers to not only book, but also to make the most of their holiday.”

The announcement was made at the start of the Travel Technology Show in London (5th and 6th February, 2008). Multimap will be presenting in the auditorium at 3pm on the 5th February, alongside Microsoft customer easyJet and its partners Splendid and Flow Interactive, on the subject of “Can the Web enhance the Travel Management Lifecycle?”

Multimap is exhibiting at the show on stand B39, and demonstrating the integration of Microsoft’s Virtual Earth and Multimap services.  Multimap will also demonstrate street level mapping in China, as the first internet mapping company to provide a choice of English and Chinese language maps, well in time for the Beijing Olympics, in addition to new street level mapping in India.
