Thai expands Hyderabad services

Thai Airways International has increased flights on the route Bangkok - Hyderabad, India, to 5 flights per week.The airline first began operating the route Bangkok - Hyderabad on 30 October 2006, operating 3 flights per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Now, THAI has increased flights on the route to 5 flights per week, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, utilizing Airbus A300-600 aircraft on flight TG329, departing from Bangkok at 20.35 hours, arriving in Hyderabad at 22.50 hours (local time) and flight TG330 departing from Hyderabad at 23.55 hours (local time), arriving in Bangkok at 04.55 hours (the following day), as of 15 January 2008 onwards.

Expanding flights will aid in profitability, expanding THAI’s aviation market in the Asia and South Asia region, which includes expansion of the I.T. customer market, overseas tourism market from India to Thailand. Furthermore, Hyderabad serves as the center for connecting THAI’s flights from Southern India into Thailand to other destinations operated by the company, especially Los Angeles, U.S.A., Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Melbourne, Australia.

Currently, THAI operated flights to 6 destinations in India, Delhi, Calcutta, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
