Singapore Airlines has begun operations at Changi Airport and is
rolling out the red carpet for premium customers to the tune of £10
million.Terminal 3 is home to Singapore Airlines’ latest premium facilities that
promise to please the most discerning of travellers.

“Terminal 3, being a new extension of the Changi hub, allows us to
create an inviting environment for our customers. Privacy, luxury and
comfort are hallmarks you can find at the SilverKris Lounge and
KrisFlyer Gold Lounge in the new terminal,” says Mr Yap Kim Wah,
Singapore Airlines Senior Vice President Products and Services.

The SilverKris Lounge provides an oasis of calm and respite for PPS
members and Singapore Airlines customers travelling in the premium
cabins, while the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge offers KrisFlyer Gold and Star
Alliance Gold members a cosy getaway in which to rest and relax. Both
lounges are centrally located and offer the best views of the airport,
from the parking bays to the runways.

The Terminal 3 SilverKris Lounge, located at level 3 above Departure
Gate A1, is 4,000 square metres of pure luxury, with walls adorned in
fine marble and rich timber. The high ceiling gives a sense of space,
while full-length windows allow customers to enjoy unparalleled views of
the tarmac in peace and quiet as they relax in seats upholstered in soft
leather.

The entire lounge is WiFi-enabled, thus allowing customers to surf the
internet from wherever they are seated. 36 internet and workstations are
also available for use. An extensive range of newspapers and magazines
is also at hand.

The Lounge has separate sections for Business Class and First Class
customers as well as eligible PPS members. There are 410 and 131 seats
in Business and First Class areas respectively. Both sections come with
their own dining areas, food service counters, bars, television areas,
showers and washrooms as well as nursing rooms.

The Business Class section of SilverKris Lounge is open to all Singapore
Airlines Business Class customers as well as PPS members who travel on
Singapore Airlines or SilkAir. Singapore Airlines Suites and First Class
customers, as well as PPS Solitaire members travelling with either
airline, may also visit the First Class section.

FIRST CLASS CHECK-IN: EXCLUSIVITY LIKE NEVER BEFORE

Customers using the First Class section in SilverKris Lounge will also
get greater exclusivity than ever. They will have their own private
driveway leading into the First Class Check-in Reception at Terminal 3,
with porters to assist them with their luggage as service staff complete
their check-in.

Clearing immigration will be a breeze, thanks to a dedicated Singapore
Airlines First Class Departure Immigration Lane, set aside exclusively
for these customers. Located steps away from the exit of the First Class
Check-in Reception, this dedicated lane allows eligible customers to
bypass the main immigration channel, thereby making the process from
check-in to boarding a seamless and hassle-free one.

KRISFLYER GOLD LOUNGE: COMFORT WITH A MODERN TOUCH

Comfort meets modernity in the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, situated at Level
3, opposite the SilverKris Lounge. The lounge seats up to 154 customers.
The Krisflyer Gold Lounge is designed cleverly around the Terminal’s
existing facilities capitalizing on its natural skylight.

Buffet food stations and television areas are located inside, while
internet workstations are conveniently placed in the outdoor area
overlooking water features and greenery. Like the SilverKris Lounge,
free WiFi is available at the KrisFlyer Lounge.

The KrisFlyer Lounge is open to Singapore Airlines’ KrisFlyer Gold
members, and Star Alliance Gold members travelling on Economy Class.
