Alitalia SpA’s board may decide with which candidate to carry out exclusive negotiations to sell the airline November 20This is according to the daily Finanza & Mercati, citing trade union sources.

The paper also said the group of investors led by Italian lawyer Antonio Baldassarre may sue Alitalia for its decision to exclude the consortium from the bid tender.

Wednesday, Alitalia said the Baldassarre consortium had not met the required conditions to participate in the takeover of the airline.

Alitalia said it is now in talks with several other possible investors.
