easyJet launches 46 routes this winter

easyJet is to launch a further two new routes this winter, connecting East Midlands with Palma (Mallorca) and London Luton with Hamburg, bringing the total number of new routes to be launched by the airline this winter to 46 and representing a growth of 14% year on year. The once daily service from London Luton to Hamburg will commence on 5 November 2007, with fares from £20.99 one way, is expected to be popular as both a business and city break destination.

Whilst the three times weekly services from East Midlands Airport to Palma, available from £22.99 one way, will commence on 7 February 2008 and will increase to a daily service for the busy 2008 summer season. Seats will go on sale later today at www.easyJet.com

easyJet’s growth this winter reflects the airline’s continued commitment to connect its bases across Europe with currently served destinations as well as expansion into new markets including: Bucharest, Bari, Gdansk, Madeira, Innsbruck, Vienna, Sofia and Zurich.
