Australians troops will no longer fly Air New Zealand (ASX:AIZ), after a row in Wellington over a “cock-up” which led to the national carrier flying Diggers to Iraq.
The New Zealand government opposes the war in Iraq, so was furious when it learned the 76 per cent government-owned airline had carried Australians troops to the Middle East, en route to Iraq.
