Delta reveals three corporate promotions

Delta Hotels has announced a number of
new appointments to its corporate office team.Katie Bennet has been named to the new position of manager of retention marketing.
Leading customer research initiatives in this capacity, Bennet is also responsible
for developing and marketing the brand’s key customer retention products, including
Delta Privilege, Delta Meeting Maestros and Signature Club. A graduate of Humber
College’s School of Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism program, Bennet began her
career with Delta Hotels at Delta Toronto East seven years ago.

Lesley Mackay has been named national account director, based in the company’s
Ottawa office. With Delta Hotels since 1996, Mackay is now responsible for strategic
domestic account development and acquisitions, partnerships and agreements in this
lucrative market in the associations, sport, SMERF and government segments. Mackay
is a graduate of Algonquin College’s hotel restaurant and conventions and meetings
management certificate programs.

Denise Works has been appointed manager of food and beverage operations in a newly
created position at the company’s Toronto office. In this capacity, Works is
responsible for national standards implementation and training initiatives, liaising
with hotels. Most recently the manager of food and beverage at Delta Fredericton,
the Pictou, Nova Scotia, native has also worked for Centennial Hotels and holds a
degree in tourism and hospitality management from Mount Saint Vincent University.
