Hyatt to manage Dusseldorf hotel

Hyatt International (EAME) LLC and Projektgesellschaft Hafenspitze mbH have signed an agreement for Hyatt to operate the new 286-room Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf, scheduled to open in 2010.

Modern in design, the luxury hotel will be situated in the Dusseldorf MedienHafen, an emerging business district on the bank of the Rhine River. Located in one of two twin towers at the foremost tip of a peninsula, a graceful pedestrian bridge will link the 16-story hotel to the lively neighborhood on th e opposite side of the harbor. The facilities at the Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf will include multiple restaurants and bars as well as a health club, spa and swimming pool. True to the business core of the Hyatt Regency brand, the hotel will offer expansive meeting and conference space equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf will be Hyatt’s fifth property in Germany.
