Fairmont ready to add Hamburg property

Fairmont has announced a new hotel in
Hamburg, Germany will join its collection of hotels on April 30, 2007 -
Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, Hamburg.Prominently located on the western side of the Inner Alster Lake shore, Fairmont
Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, Hamburg lies in the heart of the prime retail and
commercial district, on the edge of the Binnenalster.  The hotel, reminiscent of a
well-appointed town home, features four restaurants, two bars, a spa and fitness
facility and approximately 6,700 square feet of function space.  The public areas
are furnished with a collection of 16th- and 17th-century Flemish Gobelin
tapestries, baroque cupboards and Renaissance chests.

Over one hundred years ago it was one of the first buildings on the lake - today
Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, Hamburg is the premier hotel address in the
city. Its location is perfect for enjoying many of the top attractions, including
the harbor, the State Opera, Congress Centre and the elegant shopping arcades just
around the corner.

Founded in 1897 by Friedrich Haerlin, the hotel originally featured only 11 rooms;
today it offers 157 rooms and suites, all individually decorated.  Haerlin bought
one house after the other until he finally owned the entire block, a stately
presence in the city.
