Galileo removes agency opt-in fees

Galileo is removing travel agency opt-in fees on British Airways bookings.  The measure has been introduced while the GDS provider continues its negotiations with the airline over the renewal of its global content deal which expired at the end of February.

Matthew Hall, vice president, supplier services, EMEA, commented: “While we remain in constructive dialogue with British Airways, Galileo has decided not to charge our agency customers opt-in fees on bookings with the airline.  We will, of course,  keep the trade updated on our progress.”
