Rocco Forte Hotels has announced the appointment of Holger Flory as
Director of Sales & Marketing for The Charles Hotel, due to open in Munich, in
summer 2007.Holger previously worked as Director of Sales & Marketing for the
Intercontinental Berchtesgaden Resort in Germany and spent many years working for
Dorint, subsequently Accor Dorint. 

The Charles Hotel, named for Sir Rocco Forte’s famed hotelier father, Lord Charles
Forte, will be the city’s most stylish and elegant property.  A new build, the hotel
is located in Lenbach Gaerten and overlooks Munich’s historic Botanical Gardens.
The interior has been overseen by Rocco Forte Hotels’ Director of Design, Olga
Polizzi, in her inimitably elegant fashion, fusing the contemporary with the
traditional and drawing on local sources and styles.
