SAS expands UK network

Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) is expanding its UK network, with the introduction of an additional flight from London City Airport to Copenhagen, Denmark.

From 26 March 2007 the airline will operate a new daily return service from London City to Copenhagen. The new service will compliment SAS’ existing double daily service, bringing the total number of return flights from London City to the Danish capital to three per day.  All flights will be operated by a 76 seater Q400 aircraft.

The London City services compliment SAS existing six daily services from London Heathrow to Copenhagen and will bring the airline’s weekly services from London to Copenhagen to 55.

SAS operate a unique one way fare structure meaning that customers can mix and match the airports they travel from. SAS customers can choose to fly out from London City and return via Heathrow according to which airport is most convenient to their home or office.
