SAS Sweden will open five additional non-stop routes from Stockholm to European cities. The first new route to open is between Stockholm and Munich, and this will be followed by Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, Glasgow and Reykjavik.

The route between Stockholm and Munich opens on February 12. Together with Lufthansa, SAS Sweden will offer a total of five daily departures between Stockholm and Munich.

Malaga and Palma de Mallorca are popular destinations for vacationers who are looking for sun, sea and golf. On March 31 the new route to Mallorca opens and April 28 will see the first flight to Malaga. Departures to Malaga are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Together with SAS’s partner, Spanair, the airline will offer travelers a choice of five departures a week. The Palma de Mallorca flight departs from Stockholm every Saturday.

On April 16 SAS Sweded opens a non-stop route to Glasgow. The route complements the existing service between Stockholm and Edinburgh. Glasgow is one of the fastest growing regions in Europe. The city was recently named “Favorite UK City” by Conde Nast Traveller magazine and the demand for travel there has increased. Departures are planned for Mondays and Fridays.

Stockholm-Reykjavik opens on April 27. The volume of both business and leisure travel between Stockholm and Reykjavik is on the increase and the new non-stop will also offer easy access to passengers in western Finland.

Travel to and from Munich, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, Glasgow and Reykjavik is part of the “Nya Europaflyget” concept with one-way tickets from SEK 650. Tickets are already open for sale and all the routes will be operated with either MD80 or Boeing 737.
