Marie Giuge has been appointed as director of sales and marketing for Six Senses properties in the Indian Ocean and Middle East. These include Soneva Fushi and Soneva Gili in the Maldives, and Evason Hideaway at Zighy Bay in the Sultanate of Oman, scheduled to open in mid 2007. Marie’s responsibilities will also include Six Senses projects under development in the region and the newly launched Soneva Club.

Marie joined Six Senses in 2004 as the director of sales and marketing in Vietnam, for Evason Ana Mandara, Evason Hideaway at Ana Mandara, and Evason Ana Mandara Villas Dalat - scheduled to open on December 01 2006.

Marie began her career in Vietnam ten years ago, after graduating in Economics, Finance and Marketing from Sciences Po Paris, France. She worked for an inbound travel company before focusing on hospitality, at which time she joined Victoria Hotels & Resorts where she held the position of director of sales and marketing for five years.
