Rocco Forte Hotels is celebrating after Brown’s Hotel in London was voted ‘Best
Hotel in Europe’ and Hotel de Russie’s Stravinskij Bar in Rome was awarded ‘Best
Hotel Bar in Europe’ at the Prix Villegiature AwardsThe annual Prix Villegiature Awards are judged by a panel comprising 20 high profile
journalists and 4 Directors of well-known hotels in Europe.

The hotels fought off stiff competition from the likes of Four Seasons Hotel George
V Paris, Hotel Metropole in Monte-Carlo, Rome’s Hotel Eden and La Réserve,
Switzerland to take home their respective awards.

On receiving the award, Stuart Johnson, General Manager of Brown’s Hotel commented,
“We are honoured and delighted to receive this prestigious award. Without the
consistency of the Rocco Forte Hotels brand, we would not have been able to achieve
such a high accolade in such a short space of time, since the hotel’s re-opening in
December last year”.

General Manger of Hotel de Russie, Elena Bruno collected The Award for Europe’s Best
Hotel Bar and said, “Being awarded the title of Europe’s Best Hotel Bar is fantastic
news and reaffirms the Stravinskij Bar’s position as the most famous meeting place
in Rome.  Our ‘De Russie Martinis’ are legendary across Europe.”
