Gyro wins Virgin Atlantic comms pitch

Virgin Atlantic has announce that, after an extensive and detailed review process, it has appointed Gyro International, the integrated communications agency, as its “below the line” communications agency.  Gyro’s main responsibilities will be customer acquisition and retention encompassing campaign planning, strategy, implementation and management.  Gyro will be retained to work alongside a number of existing agency relationships including Rainer Kelly, Glue London and Identex.  The business, which is estimated to be worth £4 million, was awarded to Gyro from a long list of 12 agencies.

Breda Bubear, Head of Advertising & Communications, of Virgin Atlantic commented:

“It was clear from the start of this process that Gyro understood our business and challenges and knew how to help us. We are delighted that we will be working with them.”

Richard Perry, Managing Director of Gyro International UK, said:

“We are chuffed to bits!”
