Boutique hotels select Pegasus CRS

Relais & Ch‰teaux hotel association is renewing its agreement to use Pegasus’ RezView® central reservation system (CRS) and the NetBooker Internet booking engine. Relais & Ch‰teaux is an association of more than 450 privately-owned boutique hotels and restaurants in 50 countries worldwide.

Pegasus’ RezView CRS is a fully-hosted reservation system that is easy to use, highly customizable and is able to support diverse distribution strategies. By connecting Relais & Ch‰teaux to the major global distribution systems and to more than 1,000 online distributors, both travel agents and consumers have access to real-time availability and pricing for all of Relais & Ch‰teaux’ member hotels. Relais & Ch‰teaux also benefits from complementary reservations services that integrate with RezView, including voice reservations through Pegasus’ call centers, and extensive data management services, helping Relais & Ch‰teaux to load and maintain hotel descriptions, images, rates and inventory information. Relais & Ch‰teaux has been a Pegasus RezView customer since 1998.

The NetBooker Internet booking engine helps hoteliers to grow their online business through their own Web site, increasingly important in today’s industry. NetBooker powers Relais & Ch‰teaux’ Web site, www.relaischateaux.com, providing the association with a multilingual real-time booking engine that integrates directly with the RezView CRS and provides valuable customer recognition and reporting functionality. “The NetBooker engine plays a strategic role in our Web site,” said Denis Block, international sales director from Relais & Ch‰teaux. “We have been particularly impressed with the booking engine’s functionality which enables consumers to search a range of dates for availability.”

Peter Fitzgerald, vice president of international sales for Pegasus, said: “We are pleased Pegasus’ reservations and distribution technology continue to play such a strategic role for Relais & Ch‰teaux’s business. The combination of Pegasus’ portfolio of technology services, market intelligence, and strategic account management resources are paying dividends for both Relais & Ch‰teaux and Pegasus.”
