Finnair adds flight to Ljubljana in April

Finnish carrier Finnair will be the first airline to launch direct flights between Helsinki and Ljubljana beginning in April 2007, Ljubljana international airport operator Aerodrom Ljubljana said on Wednesday.
The route, to be flown by 76-seater Embraer 170 aircraft, will operate four times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Finnair was founded in 1923 and is one of the oldest carriers in the world.

The company, which is 56.3% state-owned and has 69 aircraft, last year carried 8.5m passengers and 90,242 tonnes of cargo.
