? InterContinental Citystars with the ‘Best Business Hotel in Cairo Award’

? InterContinental Phoenicia with the ‘Best Business Hotel in Beirut Award’

It is the fourth time the InterContinental Riyadh and InterContinental Phoenicia have been honored with the prestigious accolades, after winning the awards in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

The awards ceremony, which brought together leading executives from the travel and tourism industry, was held in Dubai during Arabian Travel Market.

‘We are thrilled to have been recognized as the best hotel chain in the Middle East, whilst also receiving the individual awards for five of our premier properties. What is even more noteworthy for the Group is receiving the award for Best Business Hotel in Cairo, with InterContinental Citystars only in its second year of operation establishing itself as a leading business property within such a short timeframe. The signifcance on these awards is that they are decided by the individual votes of seasoned business travellers,’ said Chris Moloney, chief operating officer, InterContinental Hotels Group, Middle East and Africa.

‘It is very satisfying for InterContinental Hotels & Resorts to receive this level of recognition, considering the steps we have taken to introduce new hotels across the region providing business travellers with accommodation options wherever they might be doing business in the region. These awards are a clear reflection of what the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts brand represents, in terms of individual properties truly understanding its guests requirements by delivering a personalised experience through superior quality, consistent service and a luxury product,’ concluded Moloney.
