Chinese airline companies will put e-air ticket invoices into trial operation as of June 1, according to the Shanghai-based Liberation Daily on April 18. The move is deemed as piloting the utilization of e-air tickets across the country, which will cut air companies’ cost considerably.

Currently, business passengers who buy e-tickets cannot get reimbursement since they cannot obtain invoices or receipts, a major factor hindering the popularisation of e-tickets in China.
