Finnair to start KL flights

The national carrier of Finland, Finnair, will commence its operation into Kuala Lumpur from May 2007, its 11th destination in Asia.

Its flights from Helsinki to Kuala Lumpur will be operated three times a week via Bangkok and will utilise the MD 11 aircraft with a 296 seat configuration.

“The good news was conveyed to us by Mr Jere Tala, Finnair Sales Director for Singapore and Malaysia,” Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd Managing Director Bashir Ahmad said in a statement.
