Westin flag lands at Dallas Airport

Starwood and The Procaccianti Group have announced that the former Harvey Hotel DFW Airport is now reflagged as The Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport. Following significant upgrades throughout the hotel totaling $25 million, the prestigious 506-room property is now distinguished with not only a newflag, but will feature all of the signature upscale amenities and services guests have come to expect from the Westin brand. TPG, a new New England-based, full service, privately owned hotel ownership, management, and construction company owns and manages the property.

Situated in Irving, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys, and 1.5 miles from DFW Airport, the immediate area provides instant access to upscale business, shopping and entertainment. DFW International Airport is the third busiest airport in the U.S. and has 1900 flights per day and serves 59 million passengers a year. The hotel provides a complimentary airport shuttle service to DFW Airport throughout the day, as well as to a wide variety of companies in the DFW Airport area. The Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport joins its sister property, Sheraton Grand Hotel DFW, as well as six other Sheraton and Westin properties in Dallas, in addition to W Dallas- Victory scheduled to open June 15, 2006.
