The Director General of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Mr. Khaled A bin Sulayem met with the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Korea, Yoo Jin Ryong, Director of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Kim Nak Jung and the Regional Director, Korea National Tourism Organisation Mr. Lee Chang Yong at the DTCM Head Office recently according to a report in AMEInfo.com. Bin Sulayem discussed the possibility of further strengthening Dubai’s trade, cultural and tourism ties with Korea. The Korean delegation evinced interest in Dubai’s success in the travel and tourism sector and congratulated Bin Sulayem for the year-on-year growth that Dubai has recorded in terms of tourist arrivals.

Discussions between the DTCM Director General and Korean delegation also centred around Dubai’s upcoming iconic projects like the Palm, Dubai Festival City, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, Dubai Logistics City, Dubai Land and Burj Dubai that is set to firmly establish Dubai as the leading travel and tourist destination of the world.
