SN Brussels signs with Sabre

Sabre Travel Network is signing a ‘multi-year’ full-content agreement with Belgium’s flagship carrier, SN Brussels Airlines.  The deal gives Sabre Connected travel agencies access to the same fares and availability offered through the carrier’s direct reservation outlets, including flySN.com.

Separately, four additional airlines have upgraded their connection to the Sabre system. Aegean Airlines, Helios Airways, Yemenia Airways and Afriqiyah Airways are all now participating at Direct Connect Availability (DCA), the highest level of participation in the Sabre GDS.

Russia’s Domodedovo Airlines and City Star Airlines in Scotland have started distributing through the Sabre system.  City Star is based in Aberdeen, with routes to Oslo and Stavanger in Norway.

“The one thing all these airlines have in common is their recognition of Sabre as the most efficient marketplace for the buying and selling of travel,” said Dean Bibb, Sabre Travel Network’s vice president for supplier relations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.  “The additional distribution value that comes from our ownership of companies in every channel of travel sales and distribution is as attractive to regional airlines as it is to the large, global network carriers.”

In addition to distribution through the Sabre GDS, Yemenia Airways and Afriqiyah Airways also use operational and decision-support products from Sabre Travel Network sister business, Sabre Airline Solutions.
