El Quseir resort opens up

Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts has opened the Radisson SAS Resort El Quseir, the fourth Radisson SAS hotel in Egypt.
The new resort features an Ayurvedic spa, with treatments based on an ancient system of disease prevention, health care, and healing that originated in India thousands of years ago.  It also features a diving club for guests who want to explore the marine life of the Red Sea and horse stables with a riding track.

El Quseir is located in the Red Sea Riviera, with miles of sandy beaches.  The coast is protected by a coral reef, making it a popular destination for divers.  It is one of Egypt’s newest destinations on the Red Sea, located 90 miles south of Hurghada with daily flights from Cairo, where visitors from the U.S. can connect.  It is relatively undiscovered by tourists, and offers a peaceful place to unwind after a trip to Cairo or a Nile cruise.

The resort is built in the same architectural style as the surrounding historic town houses, with 250 rooms, including three suites with private balconies overlooking theRed Sea. Three distinct room styles - Safari, Quseiri and Ocean - offer guests a variety of room choices.

In addition to the Ayervedic spa, diving club and horse stables, the five-star property offers three restaurants and three bars, as well as an outdoor swimming pool, a sal*censored*er lagoon, a children’s pool, tennis courts and fitness facilities.

Pascal Gadet, general manager of the Radisson SAS Resort, El Quseir, said: “The intriguing design and subtle blend of contemporary and ethnic styles give the resort a charming authentic batmosphere, which will appeal to any guest looking for comfort and tranquillity.  With three meeting rooms, totalling 3,660 square feet, this property also caters to the growing demands of business travelers,” added Gadet.
