Dominica Carnival to go online

For the first time ever, people from around the world will be able to view
Dominica’s carnival - live - when activities for Mas Dominique 2006 are
broadcast over the Internet.
The Carnival Development Committee (CDC), in partnership with the New York-based media company, We are the Caribbean Media Services, is taking Mas Dominique 2006 to a global audience through streaming live audio and video.

“This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to showcase our culture and way of life to anyone with a computer and an Internet connection anywhere around the world and to tease them in such a manner that they will feel the urge to come experience Dominica in person,” said Val
Cuffy, chairman of the CDC.

“We are grateful to We are the Caribbean Media Services for agreeing to help make this a reality,” the Cuffy added.
