Priceline.com has signed a long-term Global Distribution System agreement with Sabre Travel Network. Specific terms of the agreement have yet to be disclosed.

Global distribution systems are the computerized links connecting online travel services like priceline.com with airline, hotel and rental car company inventories. In addition to the Sabre Travel Network GDS, priceline.com also has access to the Worldspan GDS for airline, hotel and rental car inventories, and the Pegasus GDS for hotel inventories.
“The Sabre Travel Network is one of the world’s leading GDS solutions and we are pleased to become a subscriber,” said Chris Soder, priceline.com’s Executive Vice President,Travel Services. “Sabre will provide priceline.com with an important additional source of airline inventories and content that offers flexibility to address changing market conditions. In addition, Sabre connectivity provides important technical redundancy that will help insure priceline.com’s reliable availability to customers and suppliers.”
