Diamonds used as guest incentive

The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne is randomly placing a diamond necklace under a guest’s pillow each month up until May.Each necklace from SABBIA fine jewelry boasts five diamonds totaling nearly one carat, is enhanced with a sparkling sapphire to represent the Ritz-Carlton signature cobalt blue and is valued at over $3,000.

The grand finale in the final month (May) is a special pair of designer diamond and sapphire earrings by Mouawad. To qualify, guests need only to book a guestroom or suite at the published rate.

“This distinction as Miami’s only AAA Five Diamond resort inspired us to create something with an exciting element of surprise for the guest experience,” said General Manager Marco Selva.

“It’s the perfect way to celebrate the accolade and will make five guests have an even more memorable stay.”

Of the 50,000 properties that AAA evaluates each year, less than one-half of one percent earns the Five Diamond distinction. The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne is the only Miami property added to the list.
