As from 1st April 2006 Virgin Express, the Belgian low fare carrier, will fly a new route between Brussels and Palermo (PMO).The initial frequency for the new destination is set at 2 flights per week. Palermo will be flown on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Palermo is the 4th destination that the Belgian low fare carrier will serve in Italy, and the 2nd on Sicily aside from Catania.

Both Mediterranean cities have a good all year round potential and prove to be increasingly popular with tourists.
