Post hurricane riviera back in business

Iberostar hotels says that the resorts located in Playa Del Carmen and Playa Paraiso on the Riviera Maya in Mexico are open and welcoming guests.

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts executives have assessed the damages, workers have completed almost all the repairs and the sales managers are currently working with travel agents, tour operators and wholesalers to restore business as usual.

None of the six hotels in the Riviera Maya suffered any severe damage and all repairs will be completed in time for the holidays. Quick and efficient clean-up, as well as an exceptional staff, leant a helping hand in recovery efforts. All six Playa del Carmen and Playa Paraiso resorts expect to be fully booked for the Christmas/New Year’s holiday period.

The four hotels that make up the Iberostar Playa Paraiso complex, Iberostar Paraiso Beach, Iberostar Paraiso del Mar, Iberostar Paraiso Lindo and Iberostar Paraiso Maya, are currently operating with 85 percent of their guest rooms available and with just a few changes in services.

The theater shared by Iberostar Paraiso Beach and Iberostar Paraiso del Mar is set to re-open on December 20th.  In the meantime, guests may enjoy shows and nightly entertainment at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo Theater.

The Italian and Oriental specialty restaurants as well as the buffet at Iberostar Paraiso Lindo are closed for repairs but are expected to re-open before Christmas. In the interim, guests will have full access to all the restaurants at Iberostar Paraiso Maya.
