LAX gets US Airways Club

US Airways is opening a US Airways Club at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The new club will open on Dec. 19, 2005 and will be the only airport club located in terminal one.


With the opening of the US Airways Club at LAX, the club network expands to 21 locations at 16 airports, including London/Gatwick.

“With 36 daily flights out of LAX including international and trans-continental flights it seemed appropriate to add another club to our already robust network,” said Travis Christ, vice president, sales and marketing.

“The LAX club will certainly benefit out loyal travelers as they have time to either relax or get some work done before they hop on a flight. Offering our passengers more amenities and services than any other low-cost carrier is what sets us apart from our competitors.”

The US Airways Club provides amenities and services that busy travelers need to be productive or just relax, including:

Personal assistance with reservations, flight changes and upgrades from dedicated US Airways Club Representatives
Workstations with dataports, fax machines, copiers and shredders
T-Mobile(R) HotSpot wireless broadband internet service (T-Mobile service will not be immediately available at the LAX Club)
Cable television, newspapers and other popular periodicals
Complimentary beverages and snacks
