Hilton opens Whistler spa

The resort offers 87 guestrooms, 202 suites and a luxurious array of Hilton amenities. A full spa—Artesia—is set to be complete in February 2006. The resort is located at the foot of both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, in the spectacular Coast Mountains of British Columbia, only 75 miles north of Vancouver.
The Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa is owned and managed by WW Hotels Limited Partnership, and operated under a franchise license agreement with Hilton Inns, Inc., a franchising subsidiary of Beverly Hills-based Hilton Hotels Corporation.

The full-service Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa features an array of recreational facilities and services, including ski and golf club valet service, a year-round outdoor, heated pool, indoor/outdoor hot tubs, an outdoor tennis court, and full exercise facilities in the Health Club.

The hotel’s suites and guestrooms combine traditional elements of a mountain lodge with sophisticated contemporary touches, including granite countertops, polished Kohler sinks, and custom maple cabinets.

Many of the suites offer kitchens, balconies and wood-burning fireplaces. Guestrooms and suites are equipped with the luxurious Hilton Serenity Bed and the Hilton Serenity Bath Collection, which features spa-quality hair and skincare products from Crabtree & Evelyn’s La Source line.

Other features in each room include a large work desk with chair, deep soaker tubs, and complimentary coffee and tea.

Hilton Whistler’s Cinnamon Bear Grille offers creative Pacific Northwest cuisine prepared by an award-winning chef. The resort’s Cinnamon Bear Bar is an excellent apres ski bar, with large screen TV, flat screen televisions, fireplace, two pool tables, and an outdoor patio. New this season to the CBB is NTN Interactive Television to play Texas Hold’em Poker, Trivia tournaments and lots more with your friends or with others across the continent.

Wireless high-speed internet is available throughout the property. With 10,000 square feet of technologically-advanced meeting space, including a 4,000 square foot ballroom that can accommodate up to 500 people, the Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa is an ideal choice for meetings and conferences. An attentive staff and on-premises business center are available to facilitate a wide variety of meetings.
