Starwood has announced the opening of its first property in the Central American republic of El Salvador - the Sheraton Presidente San Salvador. The hotel is located in the bustling capital city of San Salvador. The property is a franchise agreement between Starwood and Hoteles y Desarrollos S.A. de C.V.

The Sheraton Presidente San Salvador is situated in the capital of El Salvador, in the city’s fashionable Zona Rosa district, only ten minutes from the major business, shopping and entertainment and within five minutes from international consulates and embassies. The hotel features 220 guestrooms, suites and a Presidential Suite, all equipped with the brand’s signature custom-designed Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed, high-speed Internet access and cable TV.
