Northwest introduces self-service check-in

Northwest is introducing self-service check-in for passengers
travelling from London Gatwick to Detroit.  The new service will allow
passengers to check-in and collect their boarding pass with ease and speed
up to one hour before their flight.

The service is available to all passengers on flights operated by Northwest
and with partner airline KLM on departures from London Heathrow and
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
At London Gatwick, Northwest’s self-service check-in centres are
conveniently located adjacent to the traditional check-in counters located
in Zone H in the South Terminal. To use the self-service check-in centre,
passengers simply need a form of identification that can be inserted into
the machine.  Valid forms of identification include a passport or credit
card*.  Self-service check-in is available anytime within 24 hours of the
flight, closing one hour before the flight’s scheduled departure.
