Hotel company to launch technology joint venture

You’ve heard the one about the man who loved his shaver so much, he bought the company? Well now there’s a hotel company that loves its new software so much, it’s launching an IT business.
Intuitive Resort Technology Systems (IRTS) is a joint venture between the travel technology specialists, intuitive, and the hotel representation company, Resort Marketing International (RMI). The company is dedicated to developing dynamic IT solutions for hotels and resorts.

RMI runs the UK & European operations of major companies like Elite Island Resorts and Occidental Hotels & Resorts, and is owned by directors Colin Pegler and Paula Whitehead.

Paula says"IRTS was born out of our frustration with existing products on the market. We couldn’t find a central reservation system that met our needs so we decided to build our own. We’re delighted with the results and very excited about the launch of IRTS because it will offer the sector a new experience in hotel software.

The new system has been developed in partnership with intuitive, a travel technology company whose directors, Arthur Moulding and Paul Nixon, have worked companies like Virgin Holidays and MyTravel. Arthur said:

“This is a unique venture. Our combined knowledge, experience and passion have helped us to create a system that simplifies the complexities of hotel and resort management. It’s the industry’s first 100% web-based system, so it will benefit all kinds of companies, from small independents to major international brands.”
