In a break from tradition the 28th annual Caribbean Tourism Conference
(CTC-28), has been be broadcast to a global audience via the Internet.
This has been made possible through the regional tourism body’s partnership with the
New York-based media company, We are the Caribbean.com, which will stream both audio
and video of the conference sessions.
“This is a great opportunity for persons who would have liked to be here but
couldn’t, to participate in the conference,” said Hugh Riley, CTO’s director of
marketing for the Americas.
“For example, schools with students in the Condé Nast
Traveler Magazine My Caribbean Essay Contest and the CTO/ Travel + Leisure Tourism
Youth Congress can follow these events and the winning schools can send
congratulatory messages to the winners immediately.”
