New appointments at Accor Hotels Asia
Accor Asia Pacific has announced several appointments in Accor hotels in Asia.
Ian Johnston is now general manager of Park Avenue, Sofitel Residence and Grand Mercure Park Avenue Bangkok. Ian first joined Accor in 1993 to open (the former) Hotel Sofitel Riverside Bangkok, before becoming General Manager of Novotel Lotus Bangkok. Ian was recently on assignment as General Manager of the Novotel Century Hotel in Hong Kong before returning to Thailand.
Guillaume Cherfils has been appointed general manager of Sofitel Plaza Hanoi. Guillaume began his career with Accor in 1990 and was most recently general manager of Sofitel Vichy in France.
Wilson Fieldhouse is the opening general manager for the new Novotel Hyderabad in India. Wilson started his career with Accor ten years ago as general manager of Sofitel Dalat Palace in Vietnam. Wilson later held general manager positions at Accor hotels in Cambodia, the Philippines and most recently at Mercure Hotel & Residence Slipi in Jakarta. Prior to joining Accor, he worked in a variety of senior roles in American hospitality industry.
Kaharuddin Salamun is the new general manager of All Seasons Legian in Bali Indonesia. Kaharuddin has more than twenty years experience in the hospitality industry in Indonesia.
