Amadeus has announced an agreement with FlyNordic that will see the airline become the first carrier to implement Results Customer Management Solution (CMS) by Amadeus, the off-the-shelf IT platform for low cost carriers.
Amadeus and Results Reservation Technologies Ltd. (RRT) worked with FlyNordic to develop this solution that will enable the airline to move quickly in a dynamic market.  Results CMS by Amadeus will give FlyNordic superior technology allowing the carrier to better monitor and manage its operations and customers.  FlyNordic will start using the system in October 2005.

This low cost carrier IT platform will provide FlyNordic with hosting services for reservations, inventory, fares and pricing, and departure control.  This will allow the airline to consolidate its distributed inventory into one central hosting system bringing greater efficiencies and easier management of its flight inventory. FlyNordic’s website, which is responsible for the majority of their sales and marketing activity, will also benefit from better integration and flexibility.  In addition, FlyNordic will benefit from access to Amadeus’ world-leading distribution system, which will magnify its sales channels to around 75,000 travel agency offices across the globe.

Amadeus teamed up with RRT to offer Results CMS, a customer management system specifically for the needs of small to medium sized low cost carriers. The agreement brings to these carriers cost efficiencies and a ready-to-market solution: Results CMS by Amadeus.
