Langham Launches New Limo Service
The Langham Hotel, Auckland, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, is now offering its guests the five-star Langham experience from the moment they arrive at Auckland International Airport to the minute they walk into the hotel’s lobby.For a cost of NZ$55 (approx £21), which is about the same price as an average taxi, Langham Hotel, Auckland guests can be transferred from the airport to the hotel in new luxury 7 series BMW 740Li limousines.
The specially configured 740Li BMW limousines were purchased by the Langham Hotel, Auckland as an added value service for its guests. The premium vehicles feature televisions, heated rear seats, soft close doors, GPS, in-car phones and even a flag pole for use in official diplomatic duties!
This is the first time a Langham Hotels International hotel has extended its luxurious and elegant attributes outside the confines of its six properties. John Dick, General Manager of the Langham Hotel, Auckland believes the new service reflects the uncompromising stands of both BMW and the Langham Hotel, Auckland.
“The hotel already offers a complimentary inner city shuttle service for its guests but our new Langham Luxury BMW Limousine Service is a truly unique and five-star travel option for discerning corporate and leisure guests visiting the Langham Hotel, Auckland,” he says.
The 7 series limousines are driven by the hotel’s own discreet and highly experienced chauffeurs who have a wealth of local knowledge. These trained drivers can also express check-in guests en route from the airport and radio ahead their details to the hotel making sure the guest’s room is ready for their arrival and any special requirements fulfilled.
Alternatively the hotel’s seamless service allows guests to be dropped off in the city if they have a business appointment to attend while the driver delivers their luggage to the hotel. It can even be unpacked if required while the driver returns to collect the guest after their meeting. The new BMW limousines are available for the duration of the guest’s stay for shopping trips, business appointments, wine tours, beach visits and other outings.
Travel costs, which include 12.5% GST, can be charged directly to the guest’s room or paid for on an individual basis. Reservations should be confirmed in advance through UK travel agents or via the Langham Hotels International website at the same time as the room reservations.
