AirTran Links to Hurricane Aid

AirTran Airways today announced that it has
provided links on its Web site, airtran.com, that will allow Internet users to
donate money to the victims of Hurricane Katrina.  The links allow users to
access the Web sites of the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army, two
well-respected humanitarian service relief agencies.  All donations will be
used to provide food, water, medicine, clothes and shelter to the victims.“We at AirTran Airways understand the devastation that Hurricane Katrina
has caused so many families over the past few days,” said Tad Hutcheson,
director of marketing at AirTran Airways.  “It is critical that everyone in
the community pulls together to help the victims of this force of nature.  As
a result, by providing the links on our website, we are offering a fast and
effective way for people to help these families in their time of great need.”
