Management Changes at World Air

World Air Holdings has announced several management changes for the holding
company and its subsidiary, World Airways. “We are strengthening the World Air Holdings team to manage the larger
scope of the company now that we have two airline subsidiaries, World Airways
and North American Airlines,” said Randy Martinez, chief executive officer.For World Air Holdings, Rob Binns, formerly senior vice president,
Marketing and Planning, has been named chief marketing officer, and Charles
Addison, formerly senior vice president, Operational Support, has been named
chief information officer. Both report to Jeff MacKinney, president of World
Air Holdings.
  Virginia Clark has been hired as vice president and corporate controller,
a new position for the holding company, reporting to Gil Duarte, chief
financial officer. Clark was director of accounting/controller for AirTran
Airways for four years. She is a Certified Public Accountant with a master’s
degree in Business Administration, master’s degree in Elementary Education and
a bachelor’s degree in Forestry and Wildlife Ecology, all from the University
of Florida. She also has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and
Accounting from the University of Central Florida.
  Mark McMillin, formerly assistant general counsel, is now general counsel
and corporate secretary for World Air Holdings, and Tina Bennett, formerly
senior director of Human Resources for World Airways, has been named vice
president for Organizational Development at World Air Holdings. Both report to
Martinez. Jeff Sanborn, formerly director of Corporate Strategy and Fleet
Planning, has been promoted to the new position of vice president, Corporate
Planning, reporting to Binns.
  At World Airways, Renee Skinner, former controller, has been named vice
president and controller, and the airline previously promoted Jenny Poole,
formerly director of In-Flight Services, to vice president of In-Flight
Services, reporting to Charlie McDonald, World Airways chief operating
officer.
