Homewood Suites by Hilton has opened the 123-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel in Somerset, N.J. The property, which is opened by Apple REIT Six, Inc., and managed by White Lodging Services, is a new addition to the growing portfolio of more than 155 Homewood Suites by Hilton hotels nationwide. “Given the area’s great location and abundance of businesses, Somerset has been in great need for an upscale hotel that caters to guests staying five or more consecutive nights,” said Hotel Manager Chip Woodell. “Our facility has been created specifically to meet the needs of travelers who stay at a hotel for an extended amount of time and who may require specialized services and amenities such as a full kitchen, executive business center and complimentary high-speed Internet access.”
The Homewood Suites by Hilton is located off Route 287 and Exit 10 at 101 Pierce Street, Somerset, N.J. The property is conveniently located within 10 miles of local area attractions and key businesses including Rutgers University, Johnson and Johnson, Philips Lighting, Menlo Park shopping center and St. Peter’s University Hospital.
The four-story Homewood Suites by Hilton features residential-style studio; one and two- bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens; and spacious sleeping and living areas that are large enough for work, study, entertaining or relaxing. To help guests be more productive, the Hilton Family of Hotels custom designed its own clock, featuring one of the easiest-to-set alarms. The new clocks also feature a connection cable for MP3 players and other portable music devices including iPods, an addition the Hilton Family made after research revealed that consumers prefer to maintain their own music lifestyles while on the road.
