Hastings Hotels Switches to HotelREZ

Hastings Hotels, has switched to HotelREZ, the industry’s most dynamic hotel representation company, for worldwide marketing and GDS representation.
Hastings has moved its business from several GDS partners to HotelREZ because the hotel group wanted a fresh, dynamic and holistic approach to improve its business performance. Hastings Hotels has recognised that it can no longer separate the internet from the more traditional electronic distribution systems to distribute its rates globally.

Hastings Hotels’ Managing Director, Howard Hastings, said, “Hastings Hotels chose HotelREZ for its up to the minute technology coupled with the best range of marketing programmes in the industry. In addition, we felt that the experience of the HotelREZ team would best help us to seamlessly move back to one provider and drive business forward, especially in the American and European markets, as well as continuing to penetrate the existing local and UK markets. “

To assist with the roll-out of the new system, Hastings Hotels has undertaken a restructuring of both internal management and the hotel reservations departments.

Howard Hastings continues, “Some of our key personnel had worked with members of the HotelREZ team before and an element of trust had already been established, We have received excellent levels of customer service and feel that as a relatively young business the size and culture of HotelREZ was complementary to Hastings Hotels.”

Mark Lewis, managing director, HotelREZ, said, “Hastings Hotels represents a very exciting gain for us, with its fabulous, highly individual hotels. We are looking forward to delivering the levels of personal service that Hastings Hotels require, to exploit fully not only the domestic but also the international markets.”

In addition to sales, marketing and connectivity solutions, the HotelREZ proposition includes a host of additional services covering consultancy, financial commission reconciliation services, marketing services such as competitive rate monitoring tools and extranet management tools, training and development, web design/optimisation and IT infrastructure solutions.
