AirPlus Now Accepted on ba.com
Business customers can now use their British Airways AirPlus Company Account to pay for flights online at ba.com.The new facility has been implemented in response to customer demand and gives AirPlus clients even more choice and control over their bookings. They or their travel agent can now book and pay for flights on ba.com and manage bookings through the website.
Business travellers are also able to take advantage of a range of ba.com services, such as changing their bookings and online check-in. Additionally, customers can print their boarding pass from home on selected routes or collect their boarding passes at the Self-Service Check-in kiosks at the airport.
Spencer Hanlon, Managing Director of AirPlus International Ltd, said, “AirPlus is renowned in the market for continual innovation in the field of settlement and tracking of travel related services. This new benefit is another example of how AirPlus and British Airways work in partnership to respond to customer demand by providing practical travel solutions.”
Deborah Dickens, British Airways Senior Manager Global Distribution commented, “We are delighted to be able to offer AirPlus customers the ability to pay online for flights. An increasing number of travellers around the world choose to buy tickets online and British Airways aims to enhance the customer experience of using ba.com and its associated technology at every opportunity.”
This new payment option is a further service enhancement for the British Airways AirPlus Company Account - earlier this year a “compact” version was launched to the SME market.
