Distinguished Expands Marketing Reach

Distinguished Hotels International, a hotel marketing and management consortium with over 130 upscale properties in 20 countries, has set a course to expand its reach in North America by adding new members to its notable collection of independent boutique hotels worldwide as well as hiring a public relations agency to help build the company’s brand among travel agents and consumers.

To meet these objectives, Distinguished Hotels International is launching an enhanced awareness campaign focused on using public relations and has hired Kahn Travel Communications (KTC), a long-time travel and hospitality industry marketing, public relations and publishing firm.

Kahn Travel Communications is a 16-year old marketing, public relations and publishing firm specializing exclusively in the travel and hospitality industries.Ê KTC was launched by Richard S. Kahn following a 22-year career as a travel industry reporter, editor and publisher including work at prestigious publications such as Aviation Week and Space Technology and Travel Agent Magazine.
The firm has won numerous awards for its branding and launching of, the re-launching of several Caribbean hotels, and promotion of the Caribbean Tourism Organization, the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) and various major leisure vacation tour operators.
