Think Snow, Big Sky and Delta

Summer has just begun, but Delta Air Lines is inviting customers to plan ahead to this winter with the only non-stop service between Atlanta and Bozeman, Mont., providing easy access to nearby Big Sky Resort and Yellowstone National Park. Delta will operate seasonal flights on Saturdays only beginning Dec. 17, 2005, through April 1, 2006.
“We are excited to offer Atlanta customers and connecting passengers this new opportunity to fly nonstop to the ‘Big Sky Country’ of southwest Montana,” said Doug Blissit, vice president-Network Analysis. “Delta now provides convenient departures from the Southeast to this region of remarkable natural beauty.”

Delta will operate this new Saturday service with the Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Travelers to Bozeman can enjoy great Rocky Mountain skiing at Big Sky Resort/Moonlight Basin, one hour south of the city. The mountains offer 4,350 vertical feet on nearly 5,300 acres with average snowfall of more than 400 inches annually. Yellowstone National Park, home to “Old Faithful” geyser and a wide variety of wildlife and other natural attractions, is 18 miles south of Big Sky Resort.
