iExplore founder and CEO, George Deeb, said, “2005 has seen continued growth in faraway travel destinations, particularly in the Middle East which has Egypt displacing perennial best selling Peru as our number one seller and Morocco entering our top ten.” Deeb continued, “Although we have seen small declines in demand for France, other areas of Europe are experiencing larger declines due to the lower value of the U.S. dollar in 2005.”

In addition to the Galapagos Islands, India, South Africa, New Zealand and Morocco, who have seen strong growth in the top ten, other destinations seeing notable growth over last year include Jordan (#13) and Venezuela (#15), neither of which had any sales for iExplore in 2004.

Bumped from last year’s top ten were Italy, Costa Rica and Canada, who are now ranked numbers 12, 22 and 26 respectively. Other destinations seeing notable declines from last year include Vietnam and Japan.
